Purpose:

This site is dedicated to perfin collecting. I hope it will serve to promote the specialty field of perfin collecting, including security underprints, overprints, punch cancels (some), embossed control markings and perfinned precancels (prepers).

Can I help?

If you have a perfin related project that you believe a little extra exposure could help, but you have no internet presence, maybe I can help. Maybe you have a list of perfins on a particular stamp or issue and would like to have a page or two online to see if any collector passing by might be able to add to your list. I could work with you to build one or more pages and link you to the page so that collectors could contact you directly. Maybe you have an item you know very little about and would like to upload a picture in hope of getting an answer from a collector viewing the page. Maybe you have perfins to sell or trade, I could host your offer or request. As long as it relates to perfin collecting, I am willing to help.

On a personal note

This is my personal site and I do not do this for money. I work full time and spend much of my time on business travel. I update and create pages as I find time. Although I am a member of several perfin clubs and societies, I am not paid by, nor am I an officer in any of them. I get no kickbacks nor fees. I do not claim to represent the various perfin clubs. I do not typically receive any sort of update from any club officers although the librarians are very helpful. If you see something that is not up to date, please let me know what the correct data should be, rather than an email telling me only that the information is not correct. I do the best I can with the time and materials I have. Help, rather than sarcasm, is appreciated.
